As a Black woman in my fabulous 40s, I know firsthand the struggle of dealing with dry, itchy, and flaky skin. I've spent more years battling eczema and seborrheic dermatitis than I care to admit (let’s just say, I could have written a memoir on the subject!).
My journey began with steroid creams prescribed by my dermatologist that did more harm than good—talk about a plot twist! Who knew "healing" could lead to discoloration and irritation?
Frustrated with commercial products filled with harsh chemicals and the dreaded water dilution, I decided to take matters into my own hands (literally). Each of my handmade butters is crafted from raw, unrefined goodness, carefully blended to soothe and nourish without the fluff.
